Craig Shaffer is a Certified Safety Professional with over 16 years of occupational safety & health experience in the construction and manufacturing industries.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Penn State, is an authorized instructor for the 10-hour & 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Outreach programs and is an American Heart Association BLS and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR Instructor. 

Craig is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and is a Qualified Accident & Illness Prevention Service Provider, as designated by the PA Bureau of Workers Compensation.  Craig presently serves on the Associated Builders & Contractors National Safety, Health & Environmental Committee and on the safety committees of ABC’s Central PA (2002-04 chair) and Keystone Chapters.  Craig is also a member of the Central PA Chapter’s Board of Directors (2006 chair).

As president of SafetyWorks, Inc., Craig is actively involved in safety management, training and OSHA compliance consulting.  This includes directing and managing the month-to-month safety program operations for more than a dozen clients.  Craig co-founded SafetyWorks, Inc. in 1999, and prior to that was a senior loss control consultant for a regional insurance carrier.
